How to play

Simply send your picks for the weekend's race(s) listed to the left to contest@racingjason.com, using a fictional bankroll of $100. Please include your name, address and phone number for prize verification. Winners will be notified via e-mail within a week.

Win, place, show and exacta wagering only. Please use the names of horses, not their numbers.

The player who builds the biggest bankroll of the weekend will receive an "Inside Racing" t-shirt with "I beat Racing Jason" on the back, and will have their name appear on the site for a week.

Week 64: Beldame - Rae Lynn Johnson nailed the Ashado-Happy Ticket exacta, so she gets the "I beat Racingjason" t-shirt.

Week 61: Del Mar Derby - Earl Munroe kept it simple, putting all $100 to win on Willow O Wisp in the Del Mar Derby, and came away with the "I Beat Racingjason" t-shirt.

Week 60: Hollywood Gold Cup - Victor Valenciano drilled the Lava Man-Borrego exacta in the Gold Cup, so he's got an "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt headed his way.

Week 58: Belmont Stakes - Mark Garcia and an e-mailer to-be-named-later both played a winning $50 exacta; Afleet Alex to Andromeda's Hero in the Belmont, so each will get an "I Beat RacingJason" t-shirt.

Week 57: Honeymoon - Ricci Pelazini won last weeks' contest, thanks to Three Degrees winning the Honeymoon impressively.

Week 56: Gamely - San Diego's Pat Cowan gets the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt thanks to Mea Domina hanging on in the Gamely.

Week 55: Kentucky Derby - GIACOMO!! Congratulations to Mike Smith, John Shirreffs, Mr. and Mrs. Moss and contest winner JJ Hammond, who put all $100 on the nose of the longshot Derby winner. Mr. Hammond gets the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and no winner has been more deserving.

Week 54: Florida Derby - Max Boswell found the winners' circle again when High Fly held off Noble Causeway in the chalky Florida Derby, and with another "I beat racingJason" t-shirt in tow.

Week 53: Lane's End - The Lane's End proved so tough that the total of winner Alan Page was just $200, thanks to a $50 place bet on runner-up Wild Desert. Alan still gets the "I beat Racingjason" t-shirt.

Week 52: San Felipe - Three cheers for three winners; Lindsay Merritt, Ron Yonker and Dave Clinton all parlayed a winning $50 Consolidator-Giacomo exacta in the San Felipe into an "I beat Racingjason" t-shirt.

Week 51: Santa Margarita - Two more winners: Mia Wolfson, who put $33 across on runner-up Vicarage in the LA. Derby, and Miles Sablan, who had a $20 Tarlow-Dream of Summer exacta among his plays. "I beat Racingjason" t-shirts go to both.

Week 50: Santa Anita Handicap & Fountain Of Youth - California's Martha Lydick and Texas' Jerry Ross put all $100 to win on Rock Hard Ten and when "The Rock" proved he's for real and won the Big 'Cap it meant both will get an "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt. Ditto for Tim Condon of California, who put all $100 of his Fountain of Youth $ on the winning exacta of High Fly over Bandini. Tim gets a t-shirt too.

Week 49: Buena Vista - Scratches decimated the Buena Vista, so no winners will be named here, although t-shirts will be sent to those who nailed longshot winner Uraib.

Week 48: Risen Star - Nice call by New York's Jim Conti, who put all $100 to win on Scipion in the Risen Star. When Vindication's bro came away with the win, Mr. Conti earned the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt.

Week 47: Sham Stakes - Shawn White of California had $50 win and place on D. Wayne Lukas' Going Wild in the Sham, so when he held off all challengers down the lane, the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt was his.

Week 46: Santa Monica Handicap - I finally get one right, but I go easy, $50 WP on Argentinian sensation Salt Champ in the Santa Monica. New Yorks' Tony Berkhout puts all $100 on her nose and beats me. Ouch. Tony gets the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and we all go back at it on Saturday.

Week 45: San Marcos - Whilly went wire-to-wire in the San Marcos and that made Max Boswell of El Cajon, CA the winner of the "I beat Racingjason" t-shirt.

Week 44: San Fernando - Contest rookie Mike O'Regan of California made his presence felt immediately, racking up a total of $1,805 thanks to his $50 exacta box of Minister Eric and Mass Media in the San Fernando. Mike won the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and will be defending his title on the grass at Santa Anita this week.

Week 43: Hal's Hope - When Badge of Silver hung on to beat Dynever in the Hal's Hope, the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt went to Illinois' Ron Yonker, a multiple contest winner who had that $100 exacta, for a $1,140 bankroll.

Week 42: Tropical Park Derby - The Tropical Park Derby proved very tough last week, but Lord Robyn's wire to wire score gave New Yorks' Jack Kaminer ($30 across the board) the winning total of $540.

Week 41: Malibu Stakes - Rock Hard Ten is back, and Los Angeles' Mark Hubbard put him together with Lava Man to key the Malibu Stakes exacta that ran his winning total to $2,270, earning him the first "I Beat Racingjason" t-shirt of 2005.

Week 40: Breeders' Cup - Only a handful of players showed a profit on the Breeders' Cup, led by Rod Kanehl of Florida whose $200 to win on Speightstown got him $940 and the "I beat Racingjason" t-shirt and a Brisnet track stats book. San Diego's Ritchie Robershaw was second with $450, and a Brisnet book is headed his way too.

Week 39: Canadian International - The exacta wheel with Sulamani on top was the winning play last week for John Foy of Massachusetts, who won the "I beat Racingjason" t-shirt and a Brisnet Track stats book.

Week 38: Cal Cup Classic - Cozy Guy would not be denied in the Cal Cup Classic, and that made New York's Jim Conti, who had all $100 on his nose at 21-1, this week's contest winner. Jim gets the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and a Brisnet track stats book of his choice, and you can bet he'll be looking to go back-to-back.

Week 37: Lane's End Breeders Futurity - When Consolidator cruised to victory in the Lane's End Futurity, it made Eduardo Angulo an "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and Brisnet track stats book winner too. The Californian racked up a total of $674, easily outdistancing his fellow 'cappers last weekend.

Week 36: Yellow Ribbon - California horse owner/player Ritchie Robershaw struck again last weekend, drilling a $33 exacta of Light Jig over Tangle in the Yellow Ribbon to earn his second "I beat Racingjason" t-shirt and a Brisnet track stats book.

Week 35: Super Derby - Lou Ann Graham entered the ranks of multiple winners when Fantasticat hung on gamely at 14-1 in the Super Derby. Her $100 win bet earned her the "I Beat RacingJason" t-shirt and a Brisnet Track stats book. She'll be looking for the hat trick in this weeks' contest race.

Week 34: Futurity - Congratulations to New York's Laura Conti for dropping all $100 on the nose of longshot Futurity winner Park Avenue Ball. Her $1,190 total edged out Barbara Georgette in one of the closest contests of the year and earned her the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and Brisnet track stats book.

Week 33: Garden City - West Virginia's John Kirk was one happy man when Jose Santos finally found room for Lucifer's Stone in last week's Garden City. Kirk's $100 win bet garnered him the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and the Brisnet track stats book and he'll be looking to defend his title this week.

Week 32: Pennsylvania Derby - Love of Money pulled a shocker in the PA. Derby, and California's Don Pham was on it, nailing a $10 exacta that came back $610, making him the winner of the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and Brisnet track stats book.

Week 31: Travers - Brian Taylor nailed the cold Zito exacta - Birdstone to The Cliff's Edge in the Travers, earning himself the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and a Brisnet Track Stats book.

Week 30: Pacific Classic - Raymond Lew of California was "perfect" calling the Pacific Classic, playing a $100 exacta of Pleasantly Perfect over Perfect Drift. I only had the exacta for $50, so Raymond gets the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and Brisnet Track Stats book.

Week 29: Arlington Million - Another Arlington Million, another controversy. The DQ of Powerscourt knocked out quite a few contest players and gave the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and Brisnet track stats book to California's John Hough, who had $33 across on Kicken Kris.

Week 28: Whitney - Edgar Prado and Roses in May repelled Perfect Drift in the Whitney, propelling Tim ($50 wp on Roses in May) Condon of California into the contest winners' circle. Tim gets the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and the Brisnet track stats book and he'll be looking to defend his title.

Week 27: Test Stakes - Somebody stop Curt Peterson! He had $56 to win on Society Selection in the Test last weekend and hit the exacta for good measure, winning his second contest in three weeks.

Week 26: Eddie Read - Give it up for Gary Gentry of Arizona who tabbed the Special Ring - Sweet Return exacta cold in the Eddie Read. He gets the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and Brisnet track stats book and will be back to defend his title this week.

Week 25: Claiming Crown Jewel - JCurt Peterson had to survive an inquiry lodged against Intelligent Male in the Claiming Crown Jewel, but when the official sign went up, his $1,096 total earned him the "I Beat RacingJason" t-shirt and the Brisnet Track stats book.

Week 24: Smile Sprint - Jerry Bailey and Champali nosed out Pat Day and my horse, Clockstopper, in the Smile Sprint, sending the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and Brisnet Track stats book to Hansel E. Lee of California, who played a winning $100 cold exacta.

Week 23: American Oaks - Dan Norman of Oklahoma bet $50 of his $100 to win on Ticker Tape to win in the American Oaks, so his total of $650 got him the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and a special prize from Brisnet.

Week 22: Northern Dancer - Last week's Northern Dancer stumped most, but California's Derek Bryant mixed in a $10 Suave-J Town exacta to win the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt with a total of $630.

Week 21: Manhattan - Denied again! Another $100 on the winner for me and another loss. Wisconsin's Walter Zabrouski had a $50 exacta with Manhattan Hcp. winner Meteor Storm over Millenium Dragon and when the place photo went his way, it meant a $3,687 payoff and the "I Beat RacingJason" t-shirt.

Week 20: Met Mile - Denied! I put all $100 on Pico Central's winning nose in the Met Mile, but Illinois' Ron Yonker had a $50 exacta with Pico to Bowman's Band, paying a cool $3,350 and making him the first three-time winner of the contest.

Week 19: Peter Pan - Nobody beat RacingJason last week! My $50 wp on Swingforthefences ($178 total) carried the day thanks mostly to the poor run from Master David, so the t-shirt stays in the drawer.

Week 18: Preakness Stakes - Oregon's Dan Conklin and California's Ron Harris both nailed the $100 Smarty Jones-Rock Hard Ten exacta cold, so "I beat RacingJason" t-shirts are on their way.

Week 17: LA Times Hcp. - Ritchie Robershaw of San Diego played a $50 exacta box of Pohave and Marino Marini in the LA Times Hcp. and when they ran 1-2, it turned Ritchie's $100 into $825 and the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt.

Week 16: Kentucky Derby - Ron Harris played a $50 exacta box with Smarty Jones and Lion Heart in the Kentucky Derby and came away with a total of $1,417 and the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt. John Yodus of New York played a straight $100 Ashado-Smarty Jones Oaks-Derby double, so he gets the t-shirt too.

Week 15: B. Thoughtful Stakes - I put all $100 to win on the victorious Royally Chosen in the B. Thoughtful. So did Gary Bench, Dick Johnstin and Tony Berkhout, which means they tied but didn't "Beat" RacingJason. So, no t-shirts for the trio but each gets to play a $2 Oaks-Derby daily double, on me.

Week 14: Lexington - Arizona's Brian Ewing and Illinois' Ron Yonker both turned their $100 into $2,095 with a $50 Quinton's Gold Rush-Fire Slam exacta in the Lexington, so congratulations and "I beat RacingJason" t-shirts go to both.

Week 13: Arkansas Derby, Bluegrass, or Wood Memorial - The "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt goes to John Milner of South Carolina who went all in on Tapit in the Wood, good for a winning total of $630 on what was a tough weekend for contest players.

Week 12: Santa Anita Derby or Illinois Derby - John Courtney of Huntington Beach, CA put all $100 on Castledale's nose in the SA Derby. Can you say $3,220? Get that man the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and an e-Horse hat.

Week 11: Dubai World Cup Classic - New Yorker Jim Conti kept it simple and drilled the $100 P Perfect-MDO Dubai exacta, so the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and E-horse hat are headed his way

Week 10: Gotham, Rebel, or Lane's End - Sinister G shocked favored Birdstone in the Lane's End and with $100 to win earning him $1,740, Ron Yonker of Illinois became the latest winner of the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and E-horse hat.

Week 9: Florida Derby - Give it up for Justin Horowitz of Syracuse, NY for turning his $100 into a contest record $11,075 by drilling a $50 exacta box of Friends Lake and Value Plus in the Fla. Derby, earning himself the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and E-horse hat.

Week 8: Louisiana Derby - Kudos to Tony Berkhout of New York who collected $336 off Wimbledon's big win in the LA Derby and was rewarded with the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt.

Week 7: John Battaglia Memorial - Give it up for Bart Mack of Los Altos, CA because his $50 exacta of Silver Minister and Little Maath Man returned $1,150 and got him the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt.

Week 6: Gulfstream Park BC Handicap - Let's hear it for San Diego's Ritchie Robershaw, who set a new contest record by turning his $100 into $2,575 thanks to a $50 Hard Buck - Balto Star exacta.

Week 5: Fountain of Youth - Congratulations to Duane Roberts of Indiana, because when Read the Footnotes outfought Second of June to the wire in the FOY, it turned his $100 into $255, earning him the coveted "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt.

Week 4: Strub Stakes - The Strub Stakes stumped most, but not Thomas Agee of Alabama, who used Domestic Dispute and During in a $5 exacta box worth a cool $475 and the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt.

Week 3: Palos Verdes Hcp. - Congratulations to California's Martha Lydick whose $100 to win on Palos Verdes winner Bluesthestandard turned into $280 and earned her the "I beat RacingJason" t-shirt and an E-horse hat.

Week 2: Santa Ynez - We have our first repeat winner, Mr. Michael "$100 to place" Conti. He turned his $100 into $330 when Excess Summer hung on for second so another t-shirt and an E-Horse hat are headed his way.

Week 1: Santa Ynez - Nobody was able to beat my $230 score in the Santa Ynez, so the "I beat Racingjason" t-shirt stayed in the box.

Rules and Regulations

The $100 is as much as you can play on the two races. Split it up anyway you like, but bet no more than $100 in all.

Win, place, show and exacta wagering only.

Wagers must be submitted via e-mail by 2 pm EST on Saturday and no more than one entry per e-mail address.

Winners will be notified via e-mail within a week.
